Good ole' Melon Days!

So last weekend I went to Green River with my family for what is known as Melon Days! We all had a blast... tons of family, fun, and sun! Here's some wonderful pictures of the fam from the trip.......

This is my great uncle in this picture, holding up the umbrella. He and his wife live in Green River. They are the sweetest couple I have ever met....

And my good old grandpa sleeping in the front lawn while he's supposed to be baby sitting... Lol.

And my cutest little cousin ever, Brant! What a cutie! Here he is showing us all how he can get us to scream and jump up as he sticks a fist full of grass in his mouth!.... :) Cute little boy, eh?

And this sweet guy was in the Melon Days' Parade! He was awesome, he walked up to my little cousins to ask them for high fives and they all started crying. Lol.

Breanne's Birthday!

Awe, this is Moose, B and i at 7:30 am this morning, getting ready 4 our 8 am english class and then straight to practice!! We woke up breanne with the good ol' happy birthday song and gave her my GREaT gift!!

Yep!! This would be the GREAT gift. I would give you all a shirt like this, if only you were all my roommates!!! lol Now That WOULD BE GREAT!!! Let's all buy a house together and live in it! and the married couples can live in our circle with us! Cul-de-sac!

THis is what her boyfriend Brandon sent her. He goes to school in Washington. lol and he bought her a star, that was pretty cute.

We have LOTS of cake left over in the because her mom made this HUGE cake and had her bring it back! It's super yummy! Good thing we ran 10 suicides in 10 minutes today!!!

And THIS is the Gila Valley Temple!!!! LOok how fast it's going up!!! There obviously still working on the outside, but its so cool! I'm so happy 4 the people of this valley to get a temple so close!

MOose and BirTHdaYs!

This is Moose. She moved in next door to me and Breanne. Moose doesn't like to be photographed (i hate when girls pull that) lol, she looks innocent enough, doesn't she. Fun girl, get's along with B and i, even tho we're white. . .

Exhibit A. After practice friday B and i were grabbing our stuff to go get in the shower. Moose came in and was casually talking to us. Apparently as she talked, she grabbed breanne's keys off her door. So she left, we got in the shower and B returned to our room to find this. My bed off the top bunk and on the floor. ODD.

Then breanne was confused, cuz she has walked down the hall looking at her toes, so she missed where someone had put her bed. Oh, it was in the HALL!!! And breanne's keys were just hanging on our door knob. lol, breanne's car had also been affected, moose opened all her visors and stuff and in the dirt of her windshield wrote, "You've been Moosed." lol and she seemed like such a nice, quiet girl.

Our room, after we put clothes on and put our beds back together. It's Hunting Season Moose.

Mmhh. A happy liz before we took off to Phoenix this weekend for Breanne's Birthday weekend!

Why Bloga?

So i'm kinda sick of typing in my favorite blog site and continuing to see a picture of me on our blog. As much as you all KNOW that i do truly LOVE myself, we made this blog to see what's up in each others lives. So i guess i'll let you know what's up.
Right now i'm catching wireless internet in my room, i should possibly be looking up sources for my research paper on the positive effects sports has on adolescants. . but let's not get pushy, eh? So instead i've been playing on facebook, dreaming of hunky dunky guys and randomly turning to look at my roommate (Breanne) asleep on herbottom bunk who was talking to her boyfriend thru Skype (web cam) who is ALSO asleep. PA-THETIC. haha, ah geez. If i've learned anything about relationships so far it is that Long Distand Relationships are a PAIN!!!!!! Last week they were breaking up, this week they were playing the, "No you get off first." Oh the joys of love. :)
PRACTICE:
Basketball has been going great this season. I actually kinda dread going to practice because we're just running a lot and working hard! but i LOVE it!! My team is really great! We have 4 returning sophomores and a butt load of hard working, focused, talented freshman! My coach has a better work ethic this year, so we plan on winning more than ONE game this season!! Lol, but really we scrimmaged half court today and i'm just psyched 4 our guards!
The other day some guy asked where i was from, because i looked SO Familiar! I quickly replied that it must have been from America's Next Top Model. Silly boy. lol i Told Nicole G. this story and she sent me this sick ANTM hat. So now "I'm Rolling LIke a Big Shot!" (name that song)
Anyways i had a fun little Labor Day in Williams, AZ, its 30 minutes from Flagstaf and 6 HOURS from Thatcher. That's where Breanne lives and i love home cooked meals and Cereal. I'm thoroughly enjoying my scrapbooking class and my church calling. I like walks with a bowl of ice cream from the caf when the sun has gone down and the temperature is in the mid 80's. I learned that buying Walmart yogurt is no substitute for my Yoplait goodness and doing my homework instead of napping is pretty beneficial. :) Now i'm going to read Timepiece by Richard Paul Evans and brush my teeth and wash my face. Next time i gotta tell you about Annie, she lives in our hall! lol
